On January 25, the Berkeley-Jefferson Extension Master Gardeners hosted a lively seed swap at the Hospice of the Panhandle in Kearneysville, despite the winter weather. With over 70 attendees, the event highlighted the community’s passion for gardening and provided an opportunity for people of various skill levels to exchange seeds. Melanie Files, a dedicated master gardener with over two decades of experience, played a key role in organizing the event, reflecting the strong local commitment to gardening education and sustainability.
