Top Eighth-Graders from Local Schools Honored by Kiwanis
Best and brightest middle schoolers earn medals from Kiwanis

The Journal reports that 48 outstanding eighth-graders from Charles Town, Harpers Ferry, Shepherdstown, and Wildwood were honored by the Kiwanis Club for their exceptional academic achievements during a ceremony held at Harpers Ferry Middle School. Recipients, who all maintained 4.0 GPAs, were recommended by school personnel based on their academic performance and school involvement. Kiwanis member Rob Payne emphasized the students' potential for future careers in various fields, encouraging them to embrace the opportunities ahead as they transition to high school.
