Larry Pack Tours New Government Buildings in Charles Town

State Treasurer Larry Pack visits new county buildings, talks possible funding for upgrades

West Virginia Treasurer Larry Pack recently visited Charles Town to tour two newly acquired government buildings, which the county purchased for $23.5 million. The facilities, located on North Lawrence and North George Streets, are set to enhance accessibility and accommodate future population growth in the area. During the tour led by county administrator Edwina Benites, the plans for extensive remodeling of the new courthouse were also discussed, aiming to improve government services for residents. The purchase and subsequent upgrade are pivotal as they will replace the older administrative offices currently situated in downtown Charles Town.
