Police agencies combine on search warrant execution

On April 2, a collaborative effort among multiple law enforcement agencies led to the execution of 13 search warrants across the Eastern Panhandle, specifically targeting local tobacco and vape stores in Martinsburg, Ranson, and Charles Town. Initiated by the West Virginia State Police following prior traffic stops revealing illegal THC products, the operation resulted in significant seizures, including $96,000 in cash and over $700,000 worth of illegal items, along with firearms and vehicles. The investigation remains active as authorities prepare to present their findings to prosecuting attorneys.
