Shepherdstown Writer Lilli Sutton Returns for Book Reading
Shepherd University's English program will celebrate alumna Lilli Sutton on April 1 as she reads from her debut novel, 'Running Out of Air,' inspired by her formative experiences in Shepherdstown. Graduating in 2019, Sutton is now an accomplished fiction writer based in Colorado, and she credits her time at Shepherd for shaping her writing journey. This event at the Robert C. Byrd Center promises to connect Sutton with current students and showcase the support from the local academic community. Additionally, the upcoming Bernie Hutzler Golf Classic on June 2 will unite local residents for a cause benefiting healthcare in the Martinsburg area, further emphasizing the community's commitment to supporting one another.
