Little House to hold first public event since closure

The Little House in Shepherdstown is set to reopen for the first time in five years on Saturday, featuring a special 'Spooky Stories for Kids' event. Hosted by Shepherd University's National Writing Project, the event invites children from preschool to sixth grade to enjoy spooky tales, snacks, and the chance to write their own stories. After a significant restoration funded by a WISH grant due to health concerns from lead paint, the venue is now ready to welcome families back, fulfilling the community's longing for this cherished space.
