South Jefferson Public Library to hold reception for local artist

The South Jefferson Public Library is showcasing the vibrant art of Antonia Capriotti, a young artist on the autism spectrum, from March 1 to April 30, 2025. Her original Prismacolor drawings and limited edition prints will be on display, culminating in a reception on March 30 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. This exhibit, part of the library's ongoing Art In the Library series, emphasizes local talent and community engagement, reflecting the growing support for autism programs in the area. Antonia, diagnosed with PDD/NOS autism at a young age, has drawn inspiration from music therapy and Disney films, portraying her experiences through her artwork. The library, located at 49 Church Street in Summit Point, provides regular hours for viewers to enjoy her creative expressions.
