On April 2, multiple law enforcement agencies executed search warrants at 13 vape and tobacco stores across Berkeley, Jefferson, and Morgan counties in response to illegal THC product sales. The operation, which stemmed from prior traffic stops in December, led to substantial seizures including $700,000 in illegal goods, $96,000 in cash, firearms, and vehicles. Notably, three stores in Shepherdstown, Ranson, and Charles Town were involved, though it remains unclear if they were selling illegal items.
