The Faculty Merit Foundation of West Virginia has announced five finalists for the 2024 Professor of the Year award, recognizing exemplary faculty from colleges and universities across the state, including representatives from Glenville State University, West Virginia University, Shepherd University, and Marshall University. Interviews for the finalists, including local academic leaders, will take place on February 17, 2025, with the recipient announced at a banquet on April 17, 2025, at the West Virginia State Capitol. This program highlights the significant contributions of educators to higher education in the region, underlining the importance of innovation and creativity in local academic institutions.
