Local Students from Martinsburg and Charles Town Achieve Honors
Local students from towns such as Charles Town, Harpers Ferry, and Martinsburg have achieved academic honors, as reported by The Journal. Michael Poltar from Charles Town was named to the Fall 2024 Dean's List at Hudson Valley Community College, while Nathan Spencer from Harpers Ferry earned a place on the Dean's List at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Numerous students from Martinsburg have also been recognized at the Georgia Institute of Technology and the University of Hartford. Additionally, the University of Maryland Global Campus celebrated graduates including Lucas Torres, Calvin Nolan, and others, showcasing the educational achievements within the local communities.
