The Eastern West Virginia Regional Airport has launched the Bill Noe Flight School in partnership with Marshall University, offering aspiring pilots in Martinsburg a pathway to obtain their pilot’s license. The program aims to nurture future aviators and enhance local aviation expertise, following the successful Bravo Flight Training program run by Shepherd University. Students will engage in comprehensive ground school and flight training, which promise rewarding opportunities in aviation. This initiative is poised to elevate West Virginia’s longstanding aviation legacy and attract students from neighboring areas, potentially establishing Marshall as a focal point for aviation training.
