Martinsburg High School Band accepted to perform at the Cherry Blossom Parade

The Martinsburg High School Band has been invited to perform in the nationally televised Cherry Blossom Parade in Washington, D.C., on April 12, as part of the National Cherry Blossom Festival celebrating the arrival of spring. This historic opportunity marks the first time the Bulldog Band will participate, following an extensive application process initiated by director Casie Rogers Adams last year. More than 130 students will join bands from across the country to perform alongside floats and celebrity guests. Adams, who has a special connection to the festival from her student teaching days in Ranson, emphasizes the band's growth and plans to continue providing valuable experiences for her students.
