Jefferson County Foundation hosts forum to discuss Mountain Pure Water Bottling Facility

Last Friday, the Jefferson County Foundation held a forum at Grace Episcopal Church in Middleway to discuss the Mountain Pure water bottling facility project. Led by President Christine Wimer, the meeting addressed community concerns about the project’s zoning and the Charles Town Utility Board's (CTUB) role. While the foundation opposes the facility, it supports the CTUB's agreement with Sidewinder Enterprises, ensuring public utility involvement. Many local residents expressed frustration at the lack of communication regarding the project. The foundation aims to improve public engagement and transparency moving forward, encouraging residents to voice their opinions to the Planning Commission.
