Middleway Volunteer Fire Company takes honors at Apple Blossom

On May 2, volunteers from Middleway Volunteer Fire Company participated in the 98th Annual Shenandoah Apple Blossom Firefighters Parade in Winchester, Virginia. While showcasing their skills at the fire rodeo, six members demonstrated teamwork and competitiveness. The day was highlighted by meeting retired firefighter and actor Tony Farris of Chicago Fire fame. Additionally, the team celebrated victories by winning 1st place in both the Elliptical Tanker and Specialized Emergency Vehicle categories, proudly representing their department while showcasing Tanker 6, Brush 6, and Utility 6.
