This designation highlights the community's unique historical significance and aims to mobilize support for its protection, as heavy truck traffic and infrastructure changes could alter the character of this 1700s settlement. Local leaders advocate for increased public awareness and advocacy, hoping the upcoming workshop on February 11 will galvanize community backing against the project.
