Mobile Lung Cancer Screenings and Community Events in Ranson and Martinsburg
The Journal reports that LUCAS, a mobile lung cancer screening unit, will offer low-dose computed tomography scans in Ranson on April 1 and Martinsburg on April 2. Operated by WVU Medicine and the WVU Cancer Institute, the screenings are available to insured patients and uninsured residents meeting criteria. In addition, Potomac Valley Audubon Society is organizing a winter tree identification hike on March 22 at Cool Spring Preserve in Charles Town, while the West Virginia State Police will host a sobriety checkpoint in Berkeley County on March 20 to promote safe driving.
