Morgan County has topped West Virginia's new business growth for September, with a growth rate of 1.99% and 26 new businesses. This places it ahead of neighboring areas such as Ranson and Charles Town, where Jefferson County recorded a growth rate of 1.31% with 68 new ventures, while Berkeley County saw a 1.23% increase with 106 new businesses.
