Director Jennifer Myers emphasized the significance of expanding green spaces amidst the area's growth, highlighting plans for additional trails, camping areas, and improved parking. The plan has involved collaboration with various organizations, and public feedback will be considered before a vote next week. The project seeks to elevate outdoor recreation opportunities for residents of nearby towns like Charles Town and Ranson.
