New Ranson Elementary School Officially Dedicated
On December 16, local officials and community members gathered to celebrate the dedication of the new Ranson elementary school, which is set to welcome approximately 256 students starting January 6, 2024. Located at 245 Ranson Campus Blvd., the school boasts 31 classrooms, a media center, science labs, and geothermal systems among its many features. The build, which has a final estimated cost of $34 million, replaces an older facility and is designed to accommodate up to 450 students. This new educational establishment stands as a testament to the efforts of Jefferson County Schools and serves the growing community of Ranson and its surroundings, with an open house held just days prior showcasing its innovative spaces and amenities.
