Citizens Fire Company in Charles Town is gearing up for its 64th annual Pancake Day on March 4, a cherished Fat Tuesday tradition and the department's largest fundraiser. It offers a welcoming community space where residents gather to enjoy pancakes, sausage, and eggs while connecting with neighbors. With around 40-50 volunteers, the event feeds approximately 2,000 people and serves over 10,000 pancakes, with proceeds supporting the fire department's needs.
