Over the weekend, plein air painters from Goldfinch Studio participated in the 26th annual Back Alley Garden Tour & Tea in Shepherdstown, showcasing their artwork inspired by the local gardens. Following the event, an exhibition of these paintings will open at The Bridge Gallery, where visitors can purchase unique pieces through the end of June. Walter Bartman, director of Goldfinch Studio, expressed excitement about the collaboration, noting the vibrant colors of the season and the positive reception from tourgoers. The inclusion of these artists has strengthened community engagement with the Shepherdstown Community Club's fundraising efforts.
