The Potomac River Artists Guild, based in Shepherdstown, is marking its 25th anniversary in 2025. At their recent Fine Art Show and Sale at the War Memorial Building, long-standing members, including founding member Mary Alice Bowers, reflected on how the guild has evolved from 12 to 15 members, raising artistic standards through a juried membership process.
