The Journal reports on upcoming open houses for the Potomac Valley Master Naturalist (PVMN) program, a community initiative aimed at those passionate about nature. Established in 2003 by the West Virginia Division of Natural Resources, the program, which partners with the Potomac Valley Audubon Society, invites individuals aged 16 and older to learn about becoming Master Naturalists. The open houses will occur on December 17 and January 4 to provide details on the program's requirements, costs, and scholarship opportunities, and current members will share their experiences. Attendance is free, with no registration needed.
