Shepherdstown native and Shepherd University alumna Paula Jackson has realized her dream of owning a boutique with the Proud Peacock Boutique in Williamsport, Md. After a year of operation, she is entering a new phase focused on hosting unique pop-up shops that bring curated women's clothing and accessories to her hometown community. The first pop-up shop is set for Williamsport Retirement Village, with others planned in Shepherdstown at local venues like Evolve and the Suzanne Shipley Wellness Center, highlighting her commitment to making shopping more accessible for family, friends, and former teachers who may struggle to visit her physical store.
