Ranson Elementary School held an exciting attendance pep rally after 200 out of 257 students surpassed their attendance goal for March. Organized by Community in Schools Facilitator Joette Stephens, the event featured games like tug-of-war and a pie walk, where students could throw whipped cream pies at their teachers. Principal Lance Astorino noted the importance of such fun incentives, especially for students who typically struggle with attendance. Additionally, the school ran a March Madness attendance challenge to further encourage participation, culminating in celebrating students' achievements with special recognition.
