The Spirit of Jefferson reports that Oak Lee Drive in Ranson remains a hazardous intersection despite recent traffic signal adjustments intended to enhance visibility. Since the new Ranson police chief began his tenure on July 14, five accidents, including a notable four-vehicle crash on July 30, have occurred, leading to injuries requiring treatment at Jefferson Medical Center. Chief Robert Miller indicated that while none of the injuries appeared life-threatening, the collision's significant damage underscores the ongoing dangers at this critical intersection.
