A former employee of the Ranson Police Department, Angela C. Snyder, has filed a lawsuit against the city and Police Chief Robbie Roberts, alleging sexual harassment and wrongful termination. Snyder, who worked as an administrative assistant and court clerk for over a decade, claims that Roberts used degrading remarks towards her and other women. The complaint details retaliatory behavior when Snyder sought payment for her overtime work, leading to her termination shortly after. Concerns about Roberts' conduct have been acknowledged by local councilman Andy Colandrea, who stated that such behavior will not be tolerated in Ranson, as reported by The Spirit of Jefferson.
