The West Virginia Jobs Investment Trust (WVJIT) has announced a $400,000 investment in Ranson-based SensorHubb, a company focused on food safety technology for the hospitality sector. SensorHubb has developed an advanced software platform for continuous monitoring of refrigeration systems, aimed at improving food safety compliance. They plan to create 9 to 10 new jobs in Ranson, with salaries ranging from $60,000 to $100,000. WVJIT's support echoes their commitment to fostering innovation and job creation in the region, as highlighted by the executive director Andy Zulauf and CEO Steve Cotton, reinforcing that West Virginia is a viable hub for tech startups, particularly in food service innovations.
