Sammy the Seed Library Launches in Charles Town This Week
Sammy the Seed Library, a mobile seed-sharing initiative, will be unveiled at the Charles Town Rotary Club meeting on June 11. This project, launched by Corner Connection with the help of local Girl Scouts and supported by a donation from the Rotary Club, aims to foster community gardening and awareness of local pollinators. Following the unveiling, Sammy will travel around Downtown Charles Town, inviting residents to donate or pick up free seeds, share gardening tips, and engage with fellow gardeners through social media. The initiative highlights community creativity and cooperation in promoting sustainable gardening practices.
