Sand & Pine Co., a home decor business born during the pandemic, has opened its first permanent store in Shepherdstown after a week of preparation. The owners, who previously held pop-up shops in local towns, found the ideal location at 141 W. German St., a space reflecting the town's unique charm. The community has welcomed them warmly as they provide eclectic items like handcrafted decor and artisanal goods that cater to the tastes of local residents. Co-owner Nancy Stevens will manage the store alongside her siblings, continuing their family-oriented approach to business amidst the support of fellow local entrepreneurs.
