Due to inclement weather, local schools and offices are responding with cancellations and delays for Thursday, January 9, 2025. Jefferson County Schools will be closed, affecting PreK-12 students, as severe road conditions persist with drifting snow and ice. Morgan County Schools are also closed. In contrast, Berkeley County Schools will operate on a two-hour delay, and Saint Joseph School in Martinsburg will open late. Washington County Public Schools, however, plans to remain open on time, according to a spokesperson.
