Shepherd University has partnered with Berkeley County Schools to provide automatic enrollment for high school seniors from local schools including Hedgesville, Martinsburg, Musselman, and Spring Mills with a GPA of 2.5 or higher. This initiative simplifies the college application process, allowing students to gain admission without the need for an application or fees, ultimately enhancing educational opportunities in the region. Shepherd's commitment to fostering student success reflects the strong ties with local communities, as highlighted by both Dr. Ryan Saxe and Dr. Mary J.C. Hendrix, and aims to strengthen connections with Jefferson and Morgan County schools in the future.
