Annette Saunooke Clapsaddle, a talented author from North Carolina, has been appointed as the 2025 Appalachian Heritage Writer-in-Residence at Shepherd University. This program celebrates the rich literary tradition of the region and aims to engage with local communities, including those in nearby towns such as Charles Town and Harpers Ferry, to inspire and promote Appalachian culture.
