In an effort to support victims of Hurricane Helene, Shepherd University will host the 'Rams Act for Appalachia: An Appalachian Relief Concert and Drive' on the evening of the concert at the Frank Arts Center, as reported by The Journal. Organized by various departments, the event will showcase performances from faculty, students, and community members, with no admission fee but donations encouraged. These contributions will benefit residents in West Virginia, Virginia, Kentucky, and parts of North Carolina through the WV VOAD and the Appalachian Helene Response Fund. Additionally, the university community is collecting essential items such as toys and hygiene products leading up to the event.
