The 2025 Relay for Life event, themed ‘Going for Gold Against Cancer’, took a unique approach this year by starting at noon and ending at midnight at Shepherd University's Wellness Center. This change aimed to enhance participation from community members of all ages. Despite a shift from outdoor to indoor due to weather, the event was lively with themed laps and special performances, including those by the Shepherd dance team. Fundraising efforts surpassed their goal of $80,000, boasting a final amount of over $82,000, with the top team, Board of Hope, led by Linda Myers-Hart and Dan Hart, contributing significantly to this success.
