During the Sigma Tau Delta International Convention held from March 19-22 in Pittsburgh, five English students from Shepherd University's Alpha Gamma Kappa chapter showcased their research, including notable works on Emily Dickinson and William Faulkner. Among them, Britney Huntley received the second place Beth DeMeo award for her analysis of Dickinson's use of dashes to convey emotion.
