Shepherd University Hosts First Women in Business Conference
Inaugural Shepherding Women in Business Conference brings professionals of all ages, industries together

The inaugural Shepherding Women in Business Conference, held at Shepherd University’s Storer Ballroom, brought together 65 professionals to discuss leadership and resilience. Organized by student Chloe Waldeck, the event featured sessions with eight speakers, a keynote address from Veterans Affairs specialist Donna Newman, and a panel including local leaders like entrepreneur Tina Johnson and CEO Kim Ford. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Women Investing in Shepherd (WISH) initiative and the Rotaract Club, reinforcing community support and empowerment.
