The Rotary Club of Shepherdstown, in partnership with the Corporation of Shepherdstown, is set to install a second Almost Heaven Swing at James Rumsey Monument Park, enhancing local tourism by providing a scenic view of the Potomac River. This initiative aligns with the West Virginia Department of Tourism's strategy to promote the state, following the popularity of swings installed in various travel regions. Funded jointly by the Rotary Club and the tourism department, this project aims to attract visitors and create an iconic landmark for the community, with completion expected in the upcoming year.
