Shepherdstown Artists Guild Seeks New Members and Honors Educators
In the latest edition of The Journal, local artists in Shepherdstown are encouraged to join the Potomac River Artists Guild, which has openings for new members. With over 25 years of supporting emerging artists, the guild hosts annual art shows and group exhibitions across various mediums, including watercolor and oil painting. Additionally, the Faculty Merit Foundation of West Virginia has announced five finalists for the 2024 Professor of the Year award, including notable faculty from Shepherd University and West Virginia University. Events including the BCARSE meeting on February 18 provide community engagement opportunities for retired education professionals.
