The Shepherdstown Chronicle reports that the churches in Shepherdstown will host a Community Vacation Bible School (CVBS) at Trinity Episcopal Church from July 18-20. This marks the first year the event takes place at this location after Asbury United Methodist Church opted out. The program is designed to provide a welcoming experience for all children, featuring a theme of 'Operation Restoration: Mending God’s World' with stories, crafts, and games. Parents can also participate in a separate event at Trinity House with refreshments and discussions led by Barbara Weller. The gathering aims to uplift both children and adults during uncertain times, fostering community connections through shared faith and traditions.
