ABC Day celebrated with Cookout at the Pantry

The Journal reports that Shepherd University Dining Services, in collaboration with the Shepherdstown Shares Food Pantry, held a successful Cookout at the Pantry to celebrate ABC Day, an annual community service initiative. Food Services Director Katy Mong-Waldeck and the pantry's board member John Meeker organized the event to provide a meal for clients and community members while enhancing outreach and support for local initiatives. The gathering featured hot dogs, pasta salad, and entertainment from a local guitar group, highlighting the community spirit in Shepherdstown, especially as they prepare for the upcoming Social Seniors Prom Night.
