Shepherdstown Cadets Recognized at DAR Awards Ceremony
On April 30, the Pack Horse Ford Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution honored three JROTC cadets from Jefferson High School during an awards ceremony in Shepherdstown. Awards included the DAR Good Citizen Pin for Cadet Claire Burkhardt, the Bronze JROTC Medal for Cadet Breandan Mullins, and a scholarship for Cadet Bradley May, who plans to study business at West Virginia University. Together, the cadets contributed over 3,500 community service hours and raised substantial funds for local causes, showcasing their dedication and leadership.
