On a recent Monday afternoon, Girl Scout Troop 15099, based in Shepherdstown, visited Bistro 112 to learn to make pasta from scratch while working towards their Simple Meals Badge. Under the guidance of Chef Paul Stearman, the scouts not only gained culinary skills applicable in their own kitchens but also experienced firsthand what it's like to operate in a professional kitchen environment, enhancing their life skills in a supportive community setting, as reported by The Journal.
