On June 7, approximately 200 alumni from Shepherdstown High School gathered at the Holiday Inn in Martinsburg for the 70th annual banquet of the Alumni Association, as reported by The Journal. The event honored Mr. Lee Snyder as the Outstanding Alumnus, inducted three new members into the Athletic Hall of Fame, and awarded $1,000 scholarships to eleven graduating seniors. Special recognition was given to the honored classes of 1950, 1955, 1960, 1965, and 1970, with alumni sharing fond memories from their high school days, celebrating the lasting impact of their education.
