The Shepherd University School of Music successfully hosted the 20th annual Honor Music Festival in Shepherdstown despite a looming snowstorm. With changes made to accommodate safety, the event featured high school musicians from the surrounding region who engaged in collaborative performances with faculty and guest conductors. Highlights included the Shepherd Jazz Showcase Concert and the Honor Music Festival Concert, both held in the Frank Arts Center Theater, showcasing the talents of approximately 160 students across various ensembles. Local attendees, including residents from nearby towns, praised the electrifying performances that celebrated the dedication and talent of young musicians.
