In a heartfelt initiative, former yarn shop owner Susan Wolcott is fostering a new generation of knitters by offering free knitting classes at the Shepherdstown Public Library. Having taught over 780 individuals during her 15 years at Yarnability, Wolcott emphasizes the joy and bonding experience of knitting, especially with children and parents, as seen through the smiles of participants like Julie Hamilton and Kathryn Armstrong with their grandchildren. The classes, made possible through generous donations, aim to introduce the textile arts to the community, highlighting Susan's passion for sharing her craft in Shepherdstown.
