Shepherdstown Library and Fire Department Host Kids' Safety Workshop

In recognition of October as National Fire Prevention Month, the Shepherdstown Public Library teamed up with the Shepherdstown Volunteer Fire Department to conduct a fire safety workshop aimed at educating children about emergency preparedness. Youth Services Librarian Jessie Ward emphasized the importance of equipping families in the community with essential knowledge and skills to handle fire-related emergencies effectively, fostering a safer environment for local families in Shepherdstown and beyond.
