On April 2, a community forum titled 'Pathways to Lasting Peace in the Middle East' took place at Shepherd University's Storer Ballroom, organized by the Eastern Panhandle T.E.A.M. This new initiative aims to facilitate discussions on achieving lasting peace between Israelis and Palestinians. Approximately 80 attendees joined in person, alongside 30 participants via Zoom, engaging in dialogues centered on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict led by four knowledgeable panelists with relevant expertise. The event underscores local involvement in global issues, showcasing the community's commitment to advocacy and education in Shepherdstown and beyond.
