Local business puts together Mother’s Day bags for moms in need

In Shepherdstown, Michelle Kwiatkowski of Wild Rose Soap Co. has organized Mother's Day gift bags for local mothers in need for the eighth year. With the help of volunteers, including many homeschool students, approximately 60 bags filled with essential items were prepared for teen mothers associated with Young Lives Martinsburg and nearby homeless shelters. Alongside celebrating Mother's Day, Kwiatkowski's initiative also extends to Veterans Day, providing gifts to individuals at local shelters and the Martinsburg VA Medical Center. Through this effort, she aims to instill a sense of service in the participating children, highlighting the importance of community support in tough times.
