The Shepherdstown Opera House has established the Town Run Theater Company, spearheaded by Artistic Director Joe Yates, to leverage local talent for community productions. The company’s inaugural performance will be Kathryn Walat's 'Bleeding Kansas,' exploring historical political conflict and set for May at the Opera House. With founding members bringing diverse artistic backgrounds, the theater aims to enrich the cultural landscape of Shepherdstown and attract audiences from nearby areas. As emphasized by Opera House co-owner Harriet Pearson, this initiative promises to enhance the region's vibrant arts scene.
